According to authorities, the video recorded noises that include the little dog "gasping and choking." Then, it sounds like the petsitting "strikes [the dog] seven times" and "bangs [her] on the floor approximately 10 times." As the dog yelps, the petsitter says: "Yeah, keep acting." Officials who investigated discovered blood on the floor in the area where Rosie was attacked. At that point, the little dog was still alive — but she was visibly wounded and in pain. Veterinarians found that Rosie's abdomen showed internal bleeding. The dog died shortly after. While authorities have charged the petsitter with animal cruelty, other neighbors say they continue to see the petsitter advertising online, offering to care for other people's pets. Missouri officials need to ensure that no one who is charged with animal cruelty is able to operate a pet-care or pet-sitting business. Instead of banning infamous chemical that poisons food, Trump elevated it
