As if this isn't bad enough, the proposed rule doesn't even make exceptions for rape or incest.
One in three women veterans are survivors of sexual assault and experienced said assault during their service. Sexual assault is utterly pervasive the U.S. military. What women who served need is better access to care and more efforts to protect them, not rules that put them at even higher risk.
For the past several years, extremist conservatives have been on a rampage to destroy pregnant people's access to abortions, which has led to fatal consequences. Democrats need to defend people's reproductive rights and present a firm opposition!
