Luckily, a community member saw and alerted authorities. When officials arrived, they found seven cats living in the home — all in bad condition.
The dog who had been stabbed was in danger of dying from its wounds. Additionally, four cats were malnourished and starving, and one was badly injured. Two of the three dogs were also underfed.
Officials seized the animals and are ensuring they are receiving the veterinary care necessary. But it's obvious that this violent individual should never be allowed around animals again.
