The raccoon is clearly suffering and in pain. Then, the other perpetrator brutally hits its head with a hammer. But somehow, it gets worse -- they ultimately killed the animal by stabbing it with a sword. The couple has been sentenced to jail time and community service, but they clearly need counseling, too. It is not normal or acceptable to be able to inflict this kind of pain and torture on a living, breathing, innocent animal. France is still policing muslim women and girls

In fact, since the school year started, girls wearing abayas have been sent home. This is not only an attack on civil liberties, but teaching girls what they wear matters more than their education.    Any non-Muslim teen wearing an outfit that fully covered their body would never be policed in this way. How are these kids supposed to feel safe in schools if they cannot choose what they wear? They left 35 dogs to languish in a feces- and trash-filled home

...and shoved another 14 dogs together into a filthy SUV. The poor animals were literally trapped in their own feces — as well as in trash and other debris — when authorities arrived.   But the dogs' owner could not be found, so police issued a warrant for his arrest. When officers finally found the owner, they also found 14 more dogs crammed into his SUV, again living in absolute squalor. This means the man and his wife are responsible for abusing and neglecting nearly 50 dogs in total. Clearly, these people should never be allowed to own another animal again in the future, period. But as of right now, their possible prohibition from owning or possessing other pets is pending the outcome of the case. He beat, punched, and starved his animals until they ate feces

He should never own or work with animals again. He Starved His Horses Until They Ate Their Own Poop Sign Now      Arfin,   A man in Auckland, New Zealand apparently starved 11 of his horses so badly, they resorted to eating their own feces in a desperate attempt just to get anything into their empty bellies.   Inspectors also noticed some horses eating wood from fences and stable walls, dirt, car tires, their sawdust bedding, and even licking metal partitions due to starvation.   Even worse: officials also have evidence that he physically abused his horses. Witnesses observed him punching the animals and slamming them with a shovel, buckets, and other painful objects.   Yet it took authorities more than a year of repeated inspections and visits to finally charge him with a crime. Now that he's been convicted, they've only banned him from owning horses... for a measly seven years. But what about after that time? And what about protecting other species of animals? This man has shown himself to be deeply abusive and neglectful — and not safe around animals, period. Authorities must ensure he is never allowed to own or work with animals again!
