Stop Mountaintop Removal Mining!
Big Coal is blowing up mountains, burying streams and contaminating waters -- forever altering our nation's landscape and contaminating drinking water. Tell the Army Corps of Engineers and the EPA to stop mountaintop removal mining, stand up for local families and resist political pressure from coal company lobbyists.

Hi Arfin,
Send your Friday the 13th eCards from Care2!
DID YOU KNOW?
The history of Friday the 13th is shrouded in mystery.
One theory is that it is an amalgamation of two superstitions, that Friday is considered an unlucky day and that 13 is regarded as an unlucky number. Since the number 12 generally is regarded as a number of completeness (12 months of the year, 12 hours on the clock, 12 apostles etc), 13 is considered an irregular transgression.
Friday has been seen as an unlucky day since the 14th century, a day when you should not undertake journeys or start new projects. Spread some good luck on Friday by sending all your friends an eCard from Care2.
