This year, the fate of Antarctica's ocean will be decided by 25 countries behind closed doors.
Dear Arfin,
Antarctica's ocean makes up 10% of the world's seas and is the most untouched ocean environment on earth.
This year, the fate of this very special, wild environment will be decided by 25 countries behind closed doors. Despite the privacy of this meeting, we can let those decision makers know: the world is watching. And we want Antarctica's oceans permanently protected.
Antarctica's marine environment is under threat from overfishing, climate change and more. But this home to nearly 10,000 unique and diverse species, many of which can't be found anywhere else on earth, still has a chance to thrive if we take action today.
Tell the decision makers -- the CCAMLR Chair, Delegates, and Secretariat -- that you support creating a network of marine protected areas in the ocean around Antarctica.
| Thank you for taking action,
