The men proceeded to torture the cat in unthinkable ways, filming the entire ordeal on their phones and posting the videos to social media. The following details are incredibly graphic. One of the men proceeded to pick up the cat and kick it "as if kicking a football field goal." The frightened animal flew 15 to 20 feet through the air before crashing painfully back down to the ground. But the group didn't stop there. Someone else, who was not mentioned in the recent sentencing, then poured a flammable liquid all over the cat and set the animal on fire. Burning alive, the cat ran away while its group of torturers continued to film.  The things these men did that day could not have been more cruel.    While we are grateful that at least two of these men have been sentenced to jail time, we cannot become complacent. Jail time does not reform this kind of cruel aggression, and it doesn't seem clear that every perpetrator has been sentenced either. This kind of violence could very likely happen again, against another animal or even escalate to a person, as research tells us often happens. That's why we're asking the U.S. Attorney's Office involved in this case to continue to pursue justice in the form of mandatory, intensive counseling for these aggressors as well as a complete and total ban on animal ownership ever again. Sign the petition if you agree! During an August 26th episode of "the Five," Watters attacked Harris's credentials and ended with a barely disguised rape joke.   There's no way to excuse this. Demand that Fox finally fire Jesse Watters — now!   "What is her foreign policy? This is where the president has the most impact," Watters asked. A dog was playing in its yard with its family. Then a cop shot it to death.

As the dog was running away, he fired twice - in front of two young kids. And all this happened a few weeks after he killed another dog with his police cruiser, which he described to a colleague as "smoking a dog." Yet the Davenport, Iowa police department is claiming that he did nothing wrong, and he has faced zero consequences. During this most recent incident, officers had received a call about four dogs wandering the neighborhood and appearing aggressive. This cop never found those dogs. Instead, he slowly pulled into an alley alongside a family's home where two elementary school-aged children were playing with their black lab, Myst, in the yard. Myst ran up to inspect the cop, sniff him, bark a bit, and ran away back towards the house. Then, the dog ran away and back towards its family. That's when the officer opened fire.   He fired two shots from far away, even though he could have easily hit the children or mother. Myst the dog cried out, writhed in pain, and slowly died in front of the young boys. This violent, trigger-happy man is not safe to be roaming the streets!
