A local man was caught on video brutally beating Sashi with a rod. While this person is being charged with animal abuse, this level of violence against a defenseless animal should disqualify the abuser from ever owning or being near animals again.    Sign the petition to ask the Albemarle County Police Department to ban this man from ever owning animals again!   Thankfully, local animal control have confirmed that Sashi is alive and will be checked before court proceedings, but this is not enough.
