A man in Minnesota has been accused of animal torture after witnesses saw him strangle one of his puppies and break two of her legs.
**Warning: disturbing details follow.**
Shortly after the man adopted a female Mastiff / Great Dane puppy, he began a pattern of throwing her from his back porch. The puppy would scream in distress and fear, so he would wrap her inside a cushion so others couldn't hear. At other times, the man abused his new puppy as "punishment" for her mistakes. One witness's son saw him throw the animal across a room in punishment before holding her down on the floor and strangling her. Witnesses became afraid that the dog was "going to die from her injuries," so they contacted authorities.
Officers on the scene tried to encourage the dog to get up and come to them. But the creature was so malnourished, they could see her spine and ribs through her skin, and though she tried to rally, she could not move. A veterinarian confirmed she had been badly injured from her abuses.
This man's repetitive pattern of sadistic abuse must not be overlooked! Luckily, authorities have charged him with animal abuse. We must demand that they permanently ban this man from ever owning, living with, or working with animals in the future! |
