Help Hungry American Families

DID YOU KNOW?
The first Labor Day was observed on September 5, 1882. In 1894 it became a federal holiday under President Grover Cleveland.
Labor Day is traditionally viewed as the symbolic end of summer and is celebrated with parades, barbecues and picnics. It was also traditionally considered the last day of the season for when it's fashionable for women to wear white.
