Use Simulators, Not Ferrets, For Medical Training!
In 2007, the Madigan Army Medical Center said they'd phase out use of ferrets for intubation training because of "the development of adequate simulation training models." Research shows that simulators better prepare medical professionals and the ferrets are suffering -- so what is Madigan waiting for?

DID YOU KNOW?
Though the United Nations, last year, finally dedicated July 30 as the official International Day of Friendship, we still like to celebrate the unofficial Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August.
There's plenty of room for 2 Friendship Days in the calendar. Especially since the UN resolution states that the goal of the International Day of Friendship is to promote "the international understanding, the respect for diversity and a culture of peace, between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals", something that is important on any day of the year.
So why not celebrate Friendship Day this Sunday by sending your friends eCards from Care2?
