Climate change is a global crisis that affects everyone, but some communities and countries are disproportionately impacted. The United States, as one of the largest contributors to climate change, has a responsibility to do its part in addressing this crisis and helping those who are suffering the most.
The United States has not provided the financial assistance it promised to developing countries facing the worst impacts of climate change. Despite being one of the largest contributors to climate change, the U.S. has failed to meet basic climate agreements. President Biden promised $12 billion to support poorer, developing nations in their climate response, but the Senate recently approved a package that dedicated less than $1 billion towards this pledged spending. Sign now to demand the U.S. lives up to their promises on climate action!
Thank you,
Kelsey
