Protect Education Funds for Minority Students
A new bill threatens to reverse decades of progress in advancing civil rights and equal access to education for minority students. The State and Local Funding Flexibility Act would give states and school districts limitless power to divert funding from programs that serve minority students. Tell the Senate to reject this bill!

Hi Arfin,
Here's the latest Care2 eCards update!
DID YOU KNOW?
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, lasting 29 to 30 days.
Ramadan is the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to the prophet Muhammad.
The month is dedicated to fasting where participating Muslims refrain from eating or drinking to teach them about spirituality, patience and humility.
Compared to the solar calendar, the dates of Ramadan varies depending on the moon. The beginning of Ramadan moves back approximately eleven days every year which means that a person will have fasted every day of the calendar year after about 34 years.
