Dear Arfin,

Vietnam's crackdown against activists has put 14 people in jail, simply for having the audacity to speak their mind when their opinions aren't the same as the communist government.

Tell government officials to overturn the convictions and release all the activists.

These 14 activists, including well-known blogger Le Quoc Quan, were arrested after attending a course put on the by Viet Tan. Why? Because the organization is banned for promoting things like democracy, human rights and political reform. But the activists -- who now face between three and 13 years in jail after already enduring five years of house arrest -- advocate for more than democracy, including human rights the environment.

Government officials exploited vague laws to lock these people up. We need to take a stand to show them the world won't tolerate stifling free speech.

Demand Vietnam release the activists and withdraw their convictions.
