When research macaque monkeys get too old to be "useful" they should be sent to a sanctuary, not killed and incincerated.
Dear Arfin,
British laboratories routinely uses macaque monkeys for toxicology tests and other experiments. But once they get to large to be "useful," the monkeys are killed and incinerated.
Demand an end to the slaughter of research macaques.
These poor creatures were already forced to sacrifice their health, well-being and happiness to be poked, prodded and poisoned. After being exploited for research, the least these monkeys deserve is a chance to live out the rest of their lives in a sanctuary. According to a nonprofit group, the Noveprim breeding farm has even killed pregnant and baby macaques. We can't let this cruelty continue.
Macaques are intelligent animals who feel pain and know fear. There is no excuse to kill them for convenience.
Urge British laboratories and government officials to stop mass killing of research monkeys.
